Gobbling the Gobbler

La Vergne senior citizens had their turkey and ate it too during a Thanksgiving dinner Tuesday night at the town's Civic Auditorium. Town officials served the national bird wannabe to more than 100 seniors and their families.

HERE'S WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Alderman Dennis Waldron, Vice Mayor Jerry Gann and Senior Center employee Suzanne Curry serve food to Leo Ward.

Mayor Ronnie Erwin and the rest of the gang serve food to Don Lehr.

Gladys Talley and Beverly Talley wait to get in line.

Stay safe, don't drink and drive, and find a comfortable place to nap off the turkey coma.
