Frenzied Excitement

I'm getting giddy with the excitement of Oldtimer's Day coming up! Here's a link to today's Daily News Journal with all kinds of cool things planned.

Old Timers' Day whipping into shape

Also in the news for LaVergne is the city is being given a $100,000 grant for recreation. The money is earmarked to build a greenway that will follow Hurricane Creek, with trailhead facilities at Brookside Park. Here's the article from the Tennessean: La Vergne, county get grants for recreation. My question for all you "oldtimers" is where is Brookside Park? Anyone? Please chime in. Anyone?
