Little Updates

The library's summer reading program is beginning later this week. Be sure to go by and sign your children up! Also, tomorrow (Wednesday, May 31st) is report card day at our local schools. It's also officially the last day of school. If you go to Waldron, make sure you pick up a newsletter from your child's teacher while you're there. Some teachers are notorious for never handing them out.

Did everyone survive the storm on Sunday? Here's a picture I took while we were trying to leave town - that nickel sized hail was pretty nasty stuff.

Also, I listed the house I talked about a month or so ago. Here's a picture of the pool. If you know ANYONE interested in owning 1.4 acres in the Morningside subdivision, 3 beds, 3 baths, 3-car garage, gazebo, pool, hottub, 2-stall horse barn, goldfish pond, balconies on the front and back, sunroom, formal dining, etc. contact me! It's $235,000. Very reasonable when you consider that people buy those houses in Lake Forest for $200,000+ with no land or pool or anything. Plus you'd have GREAT neighbors as I live just down the street from it. :-)
