An anonymous comment on the post below and a brief news update on Channel 2 both confirmed the winners of today's elections in LaVergne:

Mayor: Ronnie Erwin
Alderman: Jerry Gann
Alderwoman: Sherry Green

Congratulations to the winners. Also, please allow me to congratulate the others who ran but did not win. I have a lot of respect for anyone who puts their name on a political ballot. I can't imagine that running for election would be a pleasant experience AT ALL, so I admire your spirit, your dedication to this community, and your willingness to step into the public eye like you have. Hold your heads high because we greatly appreciate you!!
